UNICEF African Emergency Food Appeal
I am going to live on $10 per week for 4 weeks. (excluding rent and bills because otherwise I will be evicted).
Good on you Marley. Look forward to seeing you reach your goal.

This so far is going well. I found that by purchasing a loaf of bread for $3.99 I had a weeks worth of breakfast and $6 remaining. I am grateful for my job, as they provide staff dinners, however sometimes I can't get there on time so I go hungry. Other than that it has been difficult. I am very grateful to my flatmates who have given me old frozen veggies that they had in the freezer, and I still have a bit of plunger coffee left - so i'm doing ok!

Today is day 4. I have spent $3 thus far, however it is proving challenging as I am quite sick. (not from this event, but just run down and misfortune I should think). Hopefully it runs its course soon!

Ok.......Today I have succeeded in Day 1. Not one cent spent! I was given $5 in tips at work as well so that is half of this weeks wage. I think this is going to be much harder than I anticipated, however I must stick to it....people in third world countries don't have the option, so for the time being, neither do I.
