Reason for fundraising:
The state of affairs in East Africa is absolutely shocking and the more the world can do to help, the better. We have chosen this international charity (UNICEF) because while there are plenty of worthy local causes, your dollar will go much further over there than it would in NZ.
The fundraising mission:
We already have plenty of stuff, so we have decided to ask our wedding guests to donate what they can to UNICEF's African Emergency Food Appeal. This will be a far more useful gift than a toaster or a tablecloth, so please donate generously.
